GEMINI LASER

Laser Skin Rejuvenation in Merrylands

Laser skin rejuvenation may be considered for defined pigment, vascular and textural concerns. Unlike IPL, which delivers a broad spectrum of light, the Gemini laser uses two targeted wavelengths to reach different structures and depths within the skin.

Depending on individual suitability, treatment may be considered for concerns such as sunspots, freckles, uneven pigmentation, visible redness, broken capillaries, deeper facial vessels and selected acne-related concerns.

TWO TARGETED WAVELENGTHS

How Gemini Laser Treatment Is Planned

The Gemini laser uses a 532 nm KTP wavelength for selected concerns closer to the skin’s surface, including visible pigmentation, redness and small facial vessels. Its 1064 nm Nd wavelength reaches deeper into the skin and may be considered for larger or deeper visible vessels and selected textural concerns.

Our team will assess the concern being treated, your skin type, relevant medical history, medications, recent sun exposure and previous treatments before selecting the appropriate wavelength and settings. Not every form of pigmentation, redness or vascular concern is suitable for laser treatment.

Temporary redness, warmth or swelling may occur following treatment. Pigmented areas may darken before gradually changing, while treated vessels can initially appear more noticeable. Potential risks include blistering, burns, changes in pigmentation and scarring.

Our team will explain the expected skin response, sun protection requirements and aftercare before treatment. The number and timing of appointments will depend on the concern being addressed and your individual treatment plan.

Individual results vary. No specific outcome can be guaranteed.
