truBody® Body Contouring in Merrylands
truBody® combines two Cutera technologies, truSculpt™ and truFlex™, to address body contour and muscle conditioning within one personalised treatment plan. The technologies work differently and may be recommended individually or together, depending on the area being treated and what you would like to address.
truBody® is not a weight-loss treatment or a replacement for regular movement and balanced nutrition. It is intended for selected areas where targeted body contouring or muscle conditioning may be appropriate.
TWO COMPLEMENTARY TECHNOLOGIES
How truBody® Works
truBody® brings together two technologies that work in different ways. truSculpt™ uses controlled radiofrequency energy to heat tissue beneath the skin and target fat cells within selected areas. truFlex™ uses electrical muscle stimulation to create controlled contractions within specific muscle groups, supporting muscle conditioning and definition.
Our team will discuss what you would like to address, review your relevant medical history and assess the proposed treatment area. Depending on your needs, truSculpt™, truFlex™ or a combination of both may be recommended. During truSculpt™, you will feel warmth as energy is delivered. During truFlex™, you will feel the selected muscles contract as the program progresses.
Temporary redness or tenderness may occur after truSculpt™, while truFlex™ may cause muscle fatigue or soreness. These treatments are not suitable for everyone, so any relevant medical conditions, implanted devices and other contraindications will be discussed before treatment. The recommended number and timing of appointments will depend on the technology used and your individual plan.
